I hear Benten pond located at Okuda in Takada city is the place where Priest En was born. Many lotus flowers on this pond are reaped on July 7 every year and conveyed to Zaoudo at Yoshino for the festival "Frog jumping". The middle & south areas in Nara prefecture is supposed to be designated as a world treasure on this month by a sacred ground of Esoteric Japanese Buddism and generally say this area was native. By the way this pond is very small, maybe about 50m2 around a lot of houses. At this time I take this photo to get rid of the surrounding houses by use of apo lense and make those lotus flowers bright in favorable light.
