We often encounter new scene when going around the farm village. What you
see at the center of this photo is a "Matsunae" offered in the
Minakuchi ceremony, a imitation of the rice seeding. As the prior preparation
of rice planting, the villagers need to make the field. At the final action,
they make "Minakuchi", a water gate for rice field and pray the
rich crop by a devoted "Matsunae". It is important to keep the
same schedule in every year for the cultivation. All things fix to the
action of farming in the village and hold any mean for the rice growing. |
