Nehane of Houryu_temple which has long history since Heian erais held in Koudo in praise of Buddha. Nehane is popular in buddism ceremonies and famous at Yusen_temple in Kyoto and Houfuku_temple in Nara. In common a big picture on which the moment of nirvana is drawn is hanged in hall. In this case taking picture was prohibited in the hall. So I try to take a picture of the men who just leave the hall against big picture of nirvana from far spot by use of telephoto lens. Additionally I set the exposure to plus in order to look the big picture vaguely as a background of the men. I think this picture is unique and pleasant for peoples who know Buddhism ceremonies very well. (Lens80-200mm, Iris_f2.8, sec.1/125, Manual_focus, ISO400) |
