| This month topics is "Mass for insects at Shimoyamada ". The
meaning of this ceremony is to gather the insects by use of torch and take
them to outside of the villege. However I feel it is strange to aid injurious
insect. Maybe the torch was used for gathering and killing insect at once,
but it was changed to soft image under the influence of Buddhism. "Mass
for insects" spreed to all over the Japan. In Nara prefecture, famous
spots are Tenri, Murou, Yagyu and etc. (Lens28-70mm, Iris5.6, Auto_exposure,
