This ceremony is for wape of great buddha image once a year. Many cameramen
come for shotting, but it is very hard to take good one. Because the use
of tripod is prohibited and the floating dust in the air reflect the light
of strobo. At result you'd better choice the high sensitive film and the
lens with big caliber. I introduce you my setting as follows: ISO400 sentitozed
to ISO1600, the use of zoom lens 80-200mm, Iris f2.8, Shutter speed 1/125
sec. Manual focus, holding in my hand.
It may be better to fix the camera to a column of the hall unless you can
use the lense with a big caliber. Maybe you can get 1 or 2 better range
of iris. -Reference: All my photos for Wape of great big buddha- |
