This photograph has the same composition to the one on the toppage. Top's has been taken 10 year before by use of digital camera of 1.5 M pixel and always reminds me of the old days. On the other hands, this photo was taken two years before by the middle format analog camera (6~4.5). I confess I like this composition like as a souvenir picture because I feel the soul of our japanese ancestors towards this maskman. I am very interested in the old masks which are used at festival in now. I am very impressed with them because I often saw the player changed to a god from a man at the moment he wore a mask with my own eye's. Especially this grandfather's mask at Tamukeyamahachiman shrine is very mysterious and spititual.(All photos-Rice planting festival, Tamukeyamahachiman shirne)
