"Kodomonehan"is popular ceremony in the East mountain area of Nara prefecture. This festival is based on the buddhism ceremony, so-called "Nehane", and also hold the coming of age ceremony. At Katuhara, that age is regarded as 15. This is the scene that the children was going around the villege before the festival and collected the rice contribution from the villegers. They were walking down the hill with a big baggage for rice, calling "Nehan-Kyahan-Oshaka-No-Suzume". Young people have went out and the children decreased haevily as well as the other local villeges in Japan. There seem to be no children who become 15 ages for 4 years and the festival would be postponed for the terms after this time.
