The flower of bush clover was picked up many times in "Manyoushu",
Japanese ancient poem books, but not showy. I had pursued the photo of
bush clover which glowed wild once, however I could not catch good photo
because the shape of the wild one were not of same size and the petals
of the flower were smaller than usual. I think the bush clover as garden
plant is more excellent than wild one and suits the temple and the Japanese
garden.
Byakugou temple was the private place of Prince Shiki in Nara era. When
he died, a waka, Japanese poem style, was recited with Bush clover by a
great poet, Kanamura Kasa, as following.
