At Kayanomori located at the back field of Asuka, Shinto ceremony Tsunakake is played to hang a rope over the entrance of the village to protect the invasion. Lady symbolized imitation is hanged out from the middle of the rope, which make a pair with the another rope with man symbolized imitation over the neighboring village, Inabuchi. I guess this pair must symbolize the richness and prosperity with sex.
Before ceremony, the service for pray is held as this photo, which I think
very unique because old lady symbolized imitation is taken at the background
of the new one. (All photos - Tsunakake at Kayanomori ) |
